Remembering Jeremy… Four Years Today

  • by

Four years ago today, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful son and brother. Jeremy is remembered everyday of our lives, but today we are painfully reminded of the magnitude of our loss. On April 25th, 2009 our lives changed forever.

We haven’t heard Jeremy’s voice, seen his face or looked into his beautiful blue eyes for four long years. We miss hearing his music… whether it was the soft melody of his guitar that would fill the air on a quiet afternoon, or the hip-hop blasting through the speakers of his car.

It has been four years since we had our last meal together, heard Jeremy’s footsteps running down the stairs to ask what’s for dinner… and five years (next week, May 2nd) since we last celebrated his birthday… but what hurts the most is four painful years not being able to hug and hold our boy and tell him how much he is loved.

Today we ask you not only to remember our Jeremy in the silence of your hearts, but to also remember those you love and who are everything to you.

We also take this day to thank you for the continued love and support that each of you gives our family through friendship and support of Jeremy’s Foundation. Even the simple act of reading the JSRF e-Newsletters is greatly appreciated.  In doing so, you honor the memory of our beloved son and brother, Jeremy Stom. We are forever grateful.

Jeremy will be remembered at today’s 7am Mass at St. Francis de Sales Parish.

Peace~

Ciri, Scott & Sayra
