As we prepare to Spring forward we hope to soon see greener grass and warmer temperatures, but before we (the Stom family) can see the beauty of Spring we must first face the sadness of the months of April & May. Friday, April 25th will mark five very long years since Jeremy left this earth. Monday, May 5th will mark four very long years for our beloved Jean. We miss them both deeply every single day and don’t know how we have survived this unthinkable tragedy. We can only imagine what their lives would look like today had they lived. We could have celebrated Jeremy’s 24th birthday on May 2nd and Jean’s 32nd birthday on May 29th. We could have celebrated Jeremy’s service completion from the U.S. Air Force or maybe an engagement or wedding. We could have seen Jean lovingly raise his two young boys or achieve his goal of becoming a social worker and helping those who struggle with addiction … but in the end that was not meant to be. Now we can only hope that we will someday embrace our beautiful boys again and spend eternity together.
As we have done the past few years both boys will be remembered during intersession prayers at the 8:30 am Masses at St. Francis de Sales Parish. Jeremy on Friday, April 25th and Jean on Monday, May 5th. Please remember our sons in the silence of your hearts or join us at Mass if you wish. Thank you for your continued prayers, love and support.
Peace, Love, & Gratitude,
